Cookies

This is the cookie policy for leafreading.club. The Leaf app has its own, at app.leafreading.club/legal/cookies.

Do you need to consent?

No cookie wall. This site does not use advertising, analytics, or social-media cookies. Under the EU ePrivacy rules and similar laws, strictly necessary storage does not need a prior opt-in. The banner is a notice, not a request for optional tracking.

What this site stores

• leaf.cookies.v1 in localStorage, only if you dismiss the notice. Value: "1". Purpose: so the notice does not return on this browser. Lasts until you clear site data.

We do not set a first-party HTTP cookie. We do not use a third-party cookie. We do not load analytics or advertising scripts.

What we do not control

The host (Vercel, and Firebase as a fallback) may keep ordinary short-lived request logs: IP address, user agent, the page asked for. Those are the host's logs, not a cookie we set. They are not used to advertise.

The waitlist itself

Joining the list stores your email on our servers, not in a cookie. That is described on the privacy page.

How to clear it

In your browser, clear site data for leafreading.club. The notice may show again. That does not remove you from the waitlist. To leave the list, write to support@leafreading.club.
